BAG CHARMS TREND - Is it Getting out of Hand and What It Means for the Luxury Consumer? 

In today's video, I want to tackle the year-long bag charms trend, taking a close look at the prices (some of which were a surprise to me) and asking the question of whether this trend is really worth the money? While the trend itself is not new, it seems that new designers and new offerings are entering the scene, making this trend more present than it was a year ago. And while the trend itself is increasing, the prices are also increasing, begging the question: at what point luxury consumers are going to say 'no' to the price points of these charms (reaching far beyond 1,000 USD mark in some cases)? And, is it really worth it to have thousands of dollars hanging off your bag, when similar items could be purchased for a fraction of the cost or, literally, handmade by your child.
