Such an awesome design and finally something different than the plain black or gray amps sold for the past 30 years. Currently Soundstream has 6 models in the Tarantula Xtreme lineup including; (1) 2 channel, (1) 4 channel and (4) monoblock versions. We decided to try out a popular size, the TXP1.6000D, no, not a 6000W amp, but a 2300W RMS amp. Still not sure why they must confuse people with the "6000W Max" rating?? Anyway, this amp is rated to deliver: 700W at 4 ohms 1200W at 2 ohms 2300W at 1 ohm Let's take a closer look at this amp and see how it performs.
