We got a dog! Her name is Henli, and she's the new facility dog at Saint Luke's Rehabilitation Institute. Henli came to Saint Luke’s from @CanineOrg, where she was trained as a professional facility dog. She is one of only a few trained facility dogs in the nation that work alongside licensed therapists. Her two handlers, Nathan and Katie, are both therapists at the Rehab Institute. She assists with physical, occupational, and speech therapy in ways that no human could, and she makes it fun.
