Hello, fellow traders, What is sentiment analysis? This is another Tutorial video. As we have mentioned many times we are trading our real account for the past years for the purposes of these series. Pretty much the idea is what other traders believe will happen to the market. The paradox that creates this analysis is the following case: So if 95% are losers then why not go in the opposite direction ???? Yes, this is true no doubt but you need to understand that the big boys are taking also decisions and we need to be on their side or take them into consideration. This doesn't mean that the big guys don't lose... Not at all, we all count losses. The market is a psychological game. If people believe prices will go up, they will go up, if they will believe they will go down, they will go down. It is impossible to count or coordinate all the trades in order to make the right decision. This is impossible. We don't know how the entity will react. Of course, with consistency and observation of the market, you will get familiar with your market and its behavior. This is the reason you need to pay attention to the market and at least take observations for more than a year let's say to see a full market cycle. I will use myfxbook as an example to see what other traders believe. The more familiar you become with your strategy the more you won't care about this information. There are cases where I took positions against 90%. This doesn't mean anything. When you are having a plan you will execute your trade. At this particular moment, I am already short in the market and 74% of them are going long. This information of course if we check another site might be different. It is a 0 sum game. I am making profits against them. We cannot predict the market we are trying to find some profitable setups. I have an extended analysis on how to use a combination of technical analysis. The negative part is that this is released every Friday so we view information that took place in the past. However, if we see for example that for consecutive weeks longs position on GBP are increasing, we probably expect the same reaction to the pair.
