All of Marie's voice clips from the original Splatoon, provided by Mari Kikuma and reused in Splatoon 2, Smash Ultimate, and Splatoon 3. Marie serves as the straight man to her cousin Callie's antics in the Squid Sisters duo, making her very popular amongst fans of the series to the point where she even won the final Splatfest of the game. This led to her becoming a very prominent character in the game's sequels, serving as a major character in Splatoon 2's storyline and appearing regularly in the marketing for the series as a whole. Since this was Marie's debut, it is therefore the first game where Kikuma voiced her as a whole, and she's voiced her ever since. Whereas Callie is my favorite member of the Squid Sisters, Marie is Sorceror SMC's favorite member, with both of them appearing frequently in our projects.
