In the interview Matangi Arulpragasam talks about the importance of this TV interview, oppression in Sri Lanka, the origins of her stage name M.I.A., the famous middle finger she made to the NFL in the halftime Super Bowl-Madonna's show, her life as a sri lankan refugee and former Central Saint Martins film student, the difficulties of living as a voiceless immigrant and being labeled as a terrorist (Oprah Winfrey once called her a “terrorist”) in USA.
