Based on the survival crafting management exploration game by 1M Bit Horde. It's a great game despite being in early access! -- The music is Ulfhednak by Dervhengrym -- There's a lot of survival crafting games out there so to distinguish yourself you need more than a gimmick. Nested Lands I feel manages to stand alone by virtue of the atmosphere and the theme being so strong. You are not in a giant sandbox, you're in an isolated pocket of civilization in the midst of a plagued wilderness of bandits and the fuming dead. In addition to getting your infrastructure up and running you need to drive back the wafting death around you and survive of the harsh weather and the ever present fear of want. Everything is decaying from gear to buildings, the nights are dark, and even slaying the foe makes you easier to sniff out in stealth and more susceptible to disease. It's grim, it's gritty, it's rough...I love it.
