This is the third-largest colony of this endangered species, and is the only place in the world where you can walk on a beach to see them at close quarters. Witness pups playing, bulls fighting and resting mothers suckling their young. There are two ways to experience Seal Bay. Either self-guided on a boardwalk, or with a guide to take you right onto the beach. Fees apply for both. This can be a National Parks guide or an accredited wildlife guide, like the Exceptional Kangaroo Island team. Our knowledgeable local guides provide you with private access right into the colony on a beautiful sandy beach.
