My Sunwest short block was shipped to me with a heli-coil repair already made to the block but when I went to torque up the water pump, the heli-coil pulled out. I think the folks that installed the heli-coil drilled the hole too large and when they tapped it for the heli-coil, the threads were only half as deep as they should have been. When I torqued it up, it easily pulled the threads out leaving a bigger hole than another heli-coil could repair. Only a Time-Sert "BIGSERT" could make the repair I needed to and you're welcome to watch me stumble through the installation of it.
