Psalm 6 | Prayer in Distress Verse 1 Lord, please do not correct in flame, Nor guide me through Your holy blame, Be gentle, Lord, to one so weak, Your mercy is the help I seek. Verse 2 My strength is gone, my bones feel sore, My troubled soul can bear no more, How long, O Lord… I softly cry, Please turn to me and draw me nigh. Pre-Chorus For in the grave no songs arise, No thankful voice to bless the skies. Chorus So I place my heart in Your care, Whispering this quiet prayer, If You will, Lord, stay with me, Hold me in Your mercy.
