If the oil temperature is too high, it will be very dangerous. 1. Be sure to check the oil temperature every now and then to prevent it from being too high and splashing out. 2. Please use an electric stove, NO gas stove for extracting with alcohol. 3. Cold process soapmaking involves working with sodium hydroxide (NaOH, also referred to as lye). Lye and raw soap can permanently damage your eyes and burn your skin.
