This exercise is an excellent method to effectively improve your right deviation (mouth opens with curve to the right) and as a result you see and feel the left TMJ pops or cracks or clunks. If you see this above pattern, this exercise is the advanced version of the simple version which I leave the link to the video here below. • Left Jaw Deviation Correction Exercise 7’s... or • Right Jaw Alignment Correction Exercise R7... This advanced version of the right deviation correction exercise for TMJ uses both of your hand to ensure and stretches what is tight and positions your jaw in. the right spot to open. We call it Advanced 7's stretch because the path of pressures you apply resembles the number 7. Open and close your mouth 3 times in each set and only do one set at a time but initially repeat as often as hourly to get familiarised in the way you do the stretch. Throughout the stretching, there should be no pain or no popping or cracking sound. If you get any of the above, it may not be for you and stop immediately or you may be simply using too much force to do this and in this instance to relax and try to use minimum force to do this stretch.
