After 9 days of searching over two weeks, today was the day we found the Gold Scorpion Earring and returned it to the owner. I then stayed another six hours and cleaned out as much trash as I could, finding the oldest coin I've found here in a long time... mainly because I had already removed all the old coins from here 30 years ago. Our fish friend Jimbo the Bass also hangs around all day. He was as determined as I was to locate the earring. Long Pond is a scenic water located on Mount Desert Island.
