This is part one of a very detailed Henna and then Indigo preparation and application process. I have previously done a one step henna and indigo process and found that the indigo did not attach long term and washed off very easily within a few weeks. For this reason I'm doing a 2 step process. I have made the video very detailed and as raw as possible which might benefit those with long 4c natural hair. From the questions in another video I have included a detailed preparation step for both the Henna and the Indigo. I also show the best way to avoid dripping and mess during the application process. Towards the end when I'm rinsing you will also see what I do to maintain moisture for the week after since you shouldn't apply conditioner and avoid heavy oiling.
