We continue the ongoing saga of the EraserGib designer watch! This time I load up ERASERGIB 2-1-26 V2 — his updated Fjordlands-themed test course first featured in Quick Tips 23. The brief was straightforward. Take the feedback on board. Refine it. Show us the next step. There is progress. The layout itself is very playable. Holes are reasonable. Strategy exists without feeling forced. The greens remain the strongest part of the build — subtle in movement, natural in how they roll, and fair when you’re putting well. From a gameplay perspective, you can enjoy a round here. But that’s only half the story. The planting is still extremely light. Large spaces are unfinished (aw heck, unstarted!). Around some of the bunkers and at times inside them, sculpting basics are not yet there. Edges lack definition. Transitions feel abrupt. The visual identity never fully arrives. And that’s where the conversation sits. There’s a good course trying to come through. The bones are solid. The playability is there. But to reach Casuals Worthy standard, the shaping and detailing have to match the intent. This is a proper checkpoint episode. If you’re following the EraserGib journey, you’ll want to see this one.
