This is the toast I wrote for my best friend Zach Stewart and his wife on their wedding day. Since Zach and I both love Tenacious D, I thought it would be a fitting "Tribute." Lyrics: This song is dedicated to the greatest and best couple in the world It's called: Wedding Tribute Long time ago, me and my brother Zach here We was hanging around in the choir room at North Mesquite High School When all of a sudden, there appeared a magical creature In the middle of the school AND IT SAID "You two must become the greatest friends, and ROCK THE WORLD!" Well me Zach We looked at each other And WE EACH SAID: "Okay." And we both decided we were both pretty cool And we wanted to start a band And be the best friends in the world We were the best friends in the world! Look into my eyes and it's easy to see One and one make two, and that's you and me It was destiny. Once every hundred thousand years or so When the sun doth shine and the moon doth glow and the grass doth grow. Needless to say, the world was stunned They tried to find a more inseparable pair But there of course were none They asked us: "Are you guys, gay?" But we said "Nay! We are but friends!" ROCK Ahhhhh Ohh Whoaa Whoaa Ohh Me and Zach, are the greatest friends in the world, yeah And now he's getting married We'll always remember we are the greatest friends in the world Well yes, but now he is married, oh To the greatest girl in the world!
