Sometimes things don't go as planned and you have to make the best of a bad trip. After just a few minutes on the water, Chris realized something was wrong with his kayak. A few more minutes on the water, and he realized something was very wrong when the entire boat almost went under and sunk. Luckily we weren't alone on this trip and it couldn't have happened on a better occasion than when other people were with us and waiting at the end of the float. He quit the trip early and had someone pick him up. Even though I continued the float as normal, high water levels, murky waters, and bad luck didn't let up.
