We transfer, restore, and sync them for free: http://www.genesismuseum.com Technical Details: This reel by Louis Dosch was very well filmed with fairly long segments, compared with typical 8mm films. Louis is a musician and his music can be heard on #SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.app.goo.gl/x2oJa https://soundclick.com/dosch The reel suffered from extreme mold which had to be corrected prior to transfer. This is a fairly common, but mostly correctable issue with the right equipment. The film then had to be cleaned up digitally, reduce noise without creating weird artifacts, and to find the right balance between detail and noise. I also was able to retain some of the details in the spotlights which is normally very difficult on 8mm film. The image is fairly soft, but the results of the clean-up are night and day, and the view of the stage is great! For a before/after restoration on this film:    • The Genesis Museum Restoration Example   My best guess for the filming date is Oakland April 14, 1978. However, the only available audio from this show is bad quality and incomplete. So I used the audio from a few days later in Los Angeles which is much better quality and a complete show, and also a possible location for the film.
