The 2.7L Ecoboost in the full sized F-150 was surprinsgly very powerful and I was expecting the same with this ford ranger. and I was not disappointed the Ford ranger did not rev above 4,000 rpm at any time and kept the engine speed at a very reasonable rate. the truck had plenty of power and felt wonderfully in control of the load dispite being only a midsized truck. this truck also comes standard with 3.73s gears which is going to greatly help with moving this trailer down the highway.
