Observe the gradient of the track and platform at Finsbury Park - quite extraordinary for a deep level tube station. The Victoria Line is a work-horse of an underground line, shuttling to and fro Brixton and Walthamstow with remarkable frequency and vitesse. In this video, I take a Southbound service from Finsbury Park in North London, to Green Park in Central London. The speed and efficiency of the Victoria Line makes the line one of the more useful routes on the TfL network - such is the speed of the service that the doors will occasionally open before the train comes to a halt, as can be observed in this video. The only sluggish part of this route is the arrival into Green Park station, where the line speed becomes notably slower.
