The SK400 is a budget solution for repetitive cutting of aluminium extrusion. The machine is controlled via a simple PLC controller and the cut length is set using the mechanical gauge and digital display with accuracy to 0.01mm. the feeder unit slides on ridged linear rails and has a maximum stroke of 280mm which can be increased to 840mm using the multi-stroke function. The SK400 is fitted with a 400mm circular saw blade which is powered by a 2.2kw sealed induction motor, 5 x pneumatic clamps are provided to keep the job secure during the cutting operation and table kept clean using the integrated chip blower on the blade guard.
