Roomba Discovery Dead Battery

I charged my roomba discovery until the light was green, meaning it was supposedly fully charged. I took it off the dock, turned it on, and the power light was red. This meant that the battery was almost depleted. I was confused because i fully charged it prior. Anyway I pushed the clean button. It started up and moved for about 1 second before giving me the "please charge roomba" error. I put it back on the charger and the charging time was WAY shorter than it needed to be. When the battery is dead the charging time should be 7-8 hours. It charged half an hour. I think what happened is the roomba can no longer measure the battery's capacity when charging. To fix this i think i will need to perform the battery reset procedure. Subscribe Like Peace
