He is under the guidance of Associate Professor Ni Haicong, a leading figure in the piano research department at the Zhejiang Conservatory of Music. Yuan Ziang is also studying at the Chamber Music Academy of the Zhejiang Conservatory of Music under the guidance of Professor Shi Jiayi, who is a renowned professor of chamber music and has previously taught at institutions such as Biola University, UCLA, La Sierra University, and the Colburn Music School in the United States. Yuan Ziang is also mentored by Liu Liyuan, the Deputy Dean of the Chamber Music Academy and Associate Professor of the Viola Department at the Zhejiang Conservatory of Music. In addition, he receives guidance from Ning Feng, an internationally acclaimed violinist and the first prize winner of the Paganini International Violin Competition. Yuan Ziang has achieved remarkable success in various piano competitions and festivals. He has won three consecutive championships in the Silk Road Piano Talent Awards at the first, second, and fourth editions, as well as the championship in the professional youth group of the fourth edition. He has also won awards such as the second prize in the SCO Organizing Committee (Poland International String and Chamber Music) competition, the championship in the youth group of the 6th Cavaille Asia International Piano Competition, and consecutive championships in the 6th and 7th Zhejiang Province Professional Youth Groups. He has also received numerous awards and recognition in other competitions, including the first prize in the Art College Performance Group at the 12th International Chinese Arts Festival Piano Competition, the first prize in the professional group at the 2023 Italy Conero International Piano Competition (China Division), and the sixth place in the professional piano group at the 2023 Zhejiang Province "Xinsong Plan" Provincial Performers Competition.
