Blizzard has filed a lawsuit against Turtle WoW, one of the most popular World of Warcraft private servers. In this video, I talk about what this could mean — not just for Turtle WoW, but for the future of WoW private servers as a whole. Private servers have always run in cycles: they start small, grow, and eventually, if they get too big, they face legal trouble. I’ve been playing on these servers since 2012 — from Feenix Emerald Dream to Turtle WoW itself — and I’ve lost more level 60 characters than I can count to shutdowns. But for me, it’s never been about the end result. It’s about the journey: the quests, the loot, the dungeon runs, and the people you meet along the way. So when people ask whether private servers are worth it if they eventually shut down, my answer is simple: yes. Because it’s not about waiting for the hype or chasing the biggest server — it’s about being curious enough to try new things, even when they’re small. 👉 Do WoW private servers still have a future? Let’s talk about it.
