Nepal Social Movie Challenge

Empowering and educating women enables them to create positive changes in their surroundings themselves. This year, Q_PERIOR decided to again support the Akasha Traineeship, an education and orientation program for young women in Nepal, supported by Long Yang e.V.. With the “Social Movie Challenge” we foster intercultural exchange and put a focus on the important topic of nutrition. Q_PERIs and the Nepalese students created short videos about their favorite food, to give insights into their completely different food cultures. As a balanced diet is essential for a healthy and independent life, the Akasha Traineeship curriculum also includes education about nutrition as one of the various health and environmental topics. The videos of Q_PERIs were happily received in Nepal. They enhanced the curiosity and courage of the students to try out new things, triggered their creativity and supported their English skills. Additionally, for every participating employee, Q_PERIOR supported the education program financially - to provide healthy meals and education for the students.
