Initially, Arjuna tried to alleviate the poverty of a beggar by giving him gold coins and precious stones, but due to selfish thoughts and misfortune, the man lost everything. When Krishna gave him just two rupees, the man put aside his own thoughts and performed the pious act of saving the life of a fish . His act of charity earned God's favor and miraculously restored all his lost wealth. This story teaches that only when we think of the welfare of others , we receive the true blessings of God . Thus, true happiness and prosperity lie in helping others rather than in acquiring wealth for ourselve
