This record, entirely played, produced and made by the phenomenal Danish musician Poul Høxbro, is one of my favorites of my collection. It was released in 1999, but I have a wonderful version included in a 4-disc box set made with singer Agnethe Christensen, who together with Poul Høxbro give life to the "Ensemble Alba". This is the first disc of the collection: entirely instrumental, it contains some of the most famous melodies of the European Middle Ages. Soon I will share the others cds with you too, where the voice of Agnethe Christensen will also be present. Have a good listening.
