Hey there neighbors, it's Kevin here with etrailer, and today we'll be taking a look at the Thomas Payne Trifold RV Loveseat. Whether you're looking to replace a broken or worn piece of furniture or just update your RV with something a little bit more modern, Thomas Payne is going to have the right fit, color, or function when it comes to their furniture pieces so that way you can enjoy all those same comforts that you have at your house in your RV. So my first impressions of this couch is it is a leather material that you typically kind of see in RVs. We've got a lot of leather stuff over here, but this one's a little bit more stiff and kind of firm compared to the older style furniture that you used to have. A lot of the time they used to just put like one giant strip of foam in here, whereas this one has a lot of stitching and cuts in it. And like I said, it feels like it's a bit thicker of a material versus some of that older stuff where that just kind of feels super thin. Now that might feel a lot more cushiony over here, but like I said, the firmness is definitely what's gonna be good for your base. And then for the backing, the cushion here, you get a lot of fluff out of that so you can really lean back and enjoy your time in your camper. Now one thing that's super important to me is our actual usable space here. So why don't we get some measurements and show you what you can do with it. So starting out, we'll go with our height first here. Now this one has a much shorter foot than most of the other options we've had today. The foot is gonna add on about an 1-1/2 of height here. And for a overall height we're gonna be right at around 20 inches. So if having your feet touch the ground is super important for you, you might wanna take that into account and just kind of see where you land with that measurement. Now for the depth of our couch, a lot of people don't really like sitting so far back to where they feel like their feet aren't touching the ground. So going up just to the cushion, we're right at 21 inches. If you start pushing into that cushion, obviously it's gonna go a little bit more. You got about probably four, five to six inches of cushion down there. So you got a lot to work with. Now along with this being a couch, it's also going to be a bed. So if you ever need to have some extra space so that you can invite over more friends, or maybe you got some little kids and you want to have them sleep on here 'cause you don't have another bed in your RV, all you have to do is pop out your cushions, set 'em aside, you'll grab your base, pop it out, you get your legs right here, and these legs are adjustable. You'll see some of them will have a pin and clip, some of 'em will have just a pin with a bearing in it. And then this one actually has a bolt with a flange nut on it. So you just pop that out and there's a bunch of holes running down the legs on the inside here and you can adjust that height so that way it's right where you need it to be for whatever floor plan you have. Now once we drop that down, we're gonna go back to the back piece here, we'll drop back down for that final third of our couch into our bed here. And one thing I like to do is have my cushion up against the back here so my pillow doesn't fall down into that little crevice between our couch and our wall. So once again, let's get some more measurements and we can see what usable space we have here. Now I'm gonna start with the width because I didn't do that originally when we had the couch up. So this is gonna be the same for both couch and bed. We have about 52 inches widthwise. And as far as length goes, if you are keeping that cushion on there and it doesn't fall over on you, you are looking at right around 62 inches. If we ignore the cushion, just going to the back of the bed we're right at 67-1/2 inches and even a little bit more if you had more room between the edge of the bed and the wall. So you can kind of factor that in. And to give you a little bit more of a reference, I'm 5'10 and if I lay on here with the cushion, my feet stick off just a little bit. Obviously my boots are gonna show a little bit more, but it feels like my toes are kind of just touching the edge of the cushion here. N
