Join us as we take you along on another family adventure! This time, Bilal had a quick work trip to Dallas, Texas, and of course, Shaeeda and baby Ayaan decided to tag along and turn it into a little getaway. While the trip was short, it was packed with fun memories, great food, and plenty of laughs that we can’t wait to share with you. We stayed right in the heart of downtown Dallas, which made it easy to explore and soak in the energy of the city. From the skyscrapers to the lively streets, Dallas felt both modern and welcoming at the same time. Even though Bilal was there for work, we made sure to carve out special family moments to enjoy the trip together. One of our first stops was the Titanic Exhibition currently on display in Dallas. Walking through the exhibit felt like stepping back in time, and we couldn’t resist recreating some of the most iconic Jack and Rose scenes from the movie. It was fun, romantic, and a little silly — but definitely one of those moments we’ll never forget. History and love all wrapped into one outing! Dallas is also known for its amazing food scene, so of course we couldn’t miss the chance to try out some new restaurants. We dined at a few fancy spots that really brought out the flavor and culture of the city, but one highlight was definitely indulging in authentic Mexican food. From the spices to the freshness, every bite was a treat, and we couldn’t stop talking about how delicious it all was. On our last day, we took a little drive out to Frisco to visit a brunch spot called Eggposh. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was even better! Shaeeda ordered the chicken and waffles — and the best part was that it was halal, which made the meal extra special. Bilal went with the banana split French toast, which was as decadent and sweet as it sounds. Let’s just say neither of us left disappointed! Ayaan, of course, enjoyed tagging along and being part of all the fun. Even though this was just a short trip, it reminded us how important it is to make the most out of every opportunity to spend time together as a family. Whether it’s a big vacation or a quick work trip, it’s about the memories you create, the laughs you share, and the experiences that bring you closer together.
