Figured I'd record a demonstration of the team I run for Siegfried. I use this setup because it's able to consistently carry the fight solo, doesn't take a lot of thinking, and can play fast enough to get blue chests in most pubs. It doesn't do a ton of damage per turn, but you can take a lot of turns very quickly, so getting to 4m isn't too bad. If your plan is to race to 4m and dip there are better teams, though. I do slack off near the end to let the others get honors, but it wouldn't really have been any different from the rest of the fight. The strategy isn't very complicated, but there are a couple important points to keep in mind (lots of words, sorry): The Charlotta sword mainhand is because Siegfried's supplemental damage buff won't take effect if his attack would do 0 damage without it. You can prevent most of his damage by zeroing out his autos with shields and blocking. One of Lich's debuffs will get cleared every time MC CAs, but the sustain is more than worth it. MC has a ton of HP and needs meter, so I only block with him when I'm waiting to dispel Uwe or setting up a big assassin turn with Temperance staff. Grid defense does make a difference here; if your shield is getting broken, I'd suggest using draconic instead of opus for this fight. Since Lich delays almost every turn, getting Siegfried to full diamonds so you can drop his stacks can be tough. This is the other reason you block; if you deal less than 20 hits to Siegfried in a turn, he gets a bonus charge diamond at the end of the turn, *after Lich's delay*. Lich's end-of-turn nukes do 11 hits at most, and Estarriola does 3 at most. With Bubs stacks and enough shields, MC is guaranteed to TA, which puts you at 17 hits (or 20 if Estarriola's chaser is up that turn). This means you can pretty much control whether Siegfried gains a charge diamond by having Niyon block. The grid I use is obviously wild, but the important parts are...the mainhand and the beaks. Seriously, that's it. Everything else just gives you more HP and/or makes MC and Niyon hit harder. If you don't have a 4* Charlotta sword, you can use Xeno spear (or anything, really) but you will have to block most turns to ensure Siegfried's stacks don't get out of hand. Finally, L150 Niyon, Y. Yngwie, and Katzelia are not necessary for the team to work. Yngwie can be replaced by anyone with an all sub; I use him because he soaks 2 turns of autos instead of 1. Niyon works fine at L100 and has her most important upgrades by L130. You can also use Selfira in her spot. Katz is a minor heal and an attack buff, and can be replaced freely.
