No commentary playthrough of Quake 2, using the YamagiQ2 source port for enhanced compatibility with modern systems. Hard skill level, showing all secrets, presented in 4K. Originally meant to be a new IP called 'Wor', in the end Id Software opted for labelling it as Quake2, making for an odd sequel which is a complete departure for the dark, gloomy Lovecraft-esque motif of the first game. Now you are a space marine, on an assault against the Strogg, a biomechanical alien race conquering the galaxy in search for new lifeforms to assimilate. The game pushed harder the GPU market, adding colored lightning, transparencies and particle effects among other features. In the gameplay department we got hub based missions with objectives to be completed, an item inventory... and the railgun! -------------- Playthrough sin comentar de Quake 2, usando el source port YamagiQ2 para mejor compatilibdad con sistemas modernos. Dificultad difícil, mostrando todos los secretos, presentado en 4K. Originalmente intencionado para ser una nueva PI llamada 'Wor', al final Id Software decidio etiquetarlo como Quake 2, quedando una secuela rara que abandonaba los temas oscuros y lovecraftianos del primer juego. Ahora eres un marine espacial, en un asalto contra los Strogg, una raza de alienígenas biomecánicos que conquistan la galaxia en busca de nuevas formas de vida para asimilar. El juego empujó más el mercado de las GPUs, añadiendo iluminación de colores, transparencias y efectos de partículas entre otras cosas. En el departamento de jugabilidad nos otorgó misiones agrupadas en bloques con objetivos a ser cumplidos y... la railgun!
