Jurassic Park (Sega Megadrive) - Dr Grant, get to the Chopper!

Greetings everyone! Hope you are having a fantastic day! If you are of a certain age, watching Jurassic Park as a child was possibly a defining moment of whether or not you were going to be one of those Dinosaur children. For myself, whilst I enjoyed the movies, and had some of the toys, I don't specifically remember being a kid who loved Dinosaurs. A kid who loved Video Games? Absolutely, and I played a handful of different Jurassic Park games as a kid, such as the Gameboy Jurassic Park and also, this one, Jurassic Park for the Sega Megadrive. I didn't have great memories of this game, I remember it being difficult, but how difficult, I didn't quite fathom. This Long Play, I won't lie, is after several hours of numerous runs and even a hard mode 1 continue clear. I have put a ridiculous amount of time and effort into this game, and I hope it shows to a certain extent. We're just doing Dr Grant's route, I may come back and do the Raptor story, but for the time being I am just doing what I class as the main game. This game is quite honestly a rather hostile experience, seemingly taking cues from games like Prince of Persia, where precise platforming is the order of the day and also, small drops will slowly sap you of life. It all comes together in a really weird way and perhaps the stockholm syndrome has taken hold and I will be honest, I don't actively hate this game, at least not now, when I was trying to beat it for the first time it was an absolutely miserable experience. But a bit like Alisia Dragoon, once you start getting competent, this is honestly a relatively smooth ride. ------------------------------------------ I have a Ko-Fi page to take donations!
