582 doing their trash and yard waste route on a Thursday. This was filmed at 9 and they finished trash at 10. Probably started yard waste around 11:30 or 12, and finished the day around 2-3. This is a way better way to run Arlington then having all the trucks do one stream all day long. If you finish trash at 1-3pm it’s like 1-2 hours of extra time to go down to Covanta to dump, then 1-2 hours to drive back to Manassas because of traffic. So they’d be back at the yard around 6-7 and American was getting back at 3-4. That’s also just one load too, if they load out early or break down that’s like 3 hours added to the day. Then the yard waste trucks have it even worse. There are only 4! So they’d have to have a bigger route logically which isn’t that unreasonable on paper, since the yard waste dump is in Manassas. But the yard waste route is like 3 trash routes in one. It gets done around 5 light day and 8 heavy day, with a 1-2 hour drive back. Obviously the dump is closed by then.
