Welcome back to Tasty Tuesday! 💛In today’s episode, we’re making a super simple and delicious homemade granola — it’s crunchy, golden, and naturally sweetened with honey. Perfect for breakfast, snacking, or topping your smoothie bowls. This recipe is totally customisable, budget-friendly, and made with pantry staples you probably already have! ✨ No preservatives. No weird ingredients. Just real, whole goodness.Let’s get into it! Ingredients: 2 cups rolled oats (old-fashioned oats) 1/2 cup chopped almonds (or any nuts you like) 1/4 cup sunflower or pumpkin seeds 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon Pinch of salt 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup 1/4 cup melted butter 1/3 cup dried fruit (optional) 1/3 cup of chocolate (optional) Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 180°C. Line a large baking tray with parchment paper. 2. Start off with chopping your nuts and chocolate 3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the oats, chopped nuts, seeds, chocolate , cinnamon, and salt. 3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the honey (or maple syrup), melted butter until smooth. 4. Pour the wet ingredients over the dry ingredients and stir well until everything is evenly coated. 5. Spread the granola evenly on your prepared baking tray in a thin layer. 6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, stirring halfway through to ensure even toasting. Keep an eye on it during the last few minutes — it should turn golden, not burn. 7. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely on the tray. The granola will crisp up as it cools.
