With fresh snow covering the woods, Neil tracks a big whitetail buck with his Savage 220 (20-gauge), finishing off an incredible five-buck season across New England. The buck crosses a deep, fast-moving brook, forcing Neil to circle half a mile and regain the trail. The intense snow tracking continues through the morning as Neil follows the distinct track with one pad longer than the other. Moments later, the chase ends in a flash of antlers and snow as Neil drops a beautiful 10-point Massachusetts buck. 🎥 This film was only Neil’s second attempt at editing, created entirely on his iPhone using iMovie in 2020.
