We’re in Israel!! Bethlehem (Palestine) & Jerusalem - Three Continent Cruise

We are in our second port of Ashdod, Israel where we board a bus to head to Bethlehem and Jerusalem. Bethlehem is not what we expected... it is a metropolis where we always thought of it as a small town. Our main stop is the Church of the Nativity. This church has been standing since before Jesus was born. There is renovating happening which is uncovering beautiful frescos that were long hidden. Then we move over to Jerusalem where there are way more sites than we can see in one day! We visit Mount Olive, the Garden of Gethsemane along with the beautiful and ornate Basilica.
