Bushwacker to Swinger is a beginner ski run located at Pico Mountain. The trails run from the summit of Little Pico, back down to the base area. Bushwacker starts straight off of the Little Pico Triple. It is a narrow, but very mellow trail that traverses down the mountain. Once the traverse crosses the wide open Mid Pike trail that runs under the Summit Express Quad, the trail turns into Swinger, a more wide-open beginner trail that runs the rest of the way down to the base area. Pico Mountain is a ski area located in Killington, Vermont. Pico is a big mountain with a small mountain charm! Being located right next to Killington, the largest ski area in the East, Pico is often overlooked! It is actually quite a large ski area, with almost a 2,000 ft vertical drop! Pico is known for its great variety of groomers, bumps, and glades. Many challenging mogul runs can be found off of the Summit, such as Giant Killer, and off of Outpost, a pod of trails that is almost entirely dedicated to moguls! Off of Knomes Knoll and the Golden Express Quad, there are many fun and easy trails for everyone, and from the Summit there is a bit of everything! Bumps, groomers, and glades, you name it, you can find it from the summit of Pico! Pico is actually owned by nearby Killington Resort (and by extension Powdr). A Killington lift ticket is valid at Pico, but not the other way around. In the past, there have been plans to connect the two mountains, but that has not happened yet. If you're looking for a good mountain to avoid crowds on busy weekends Pico is likely one of your best bets!
