Chemnitz is a city of many things. Formerly named after Karl Marx, now a bastion of the Far Right. A major city in Saxony, but with very few long distance train services. It has had electric trams for over 120 years, but also has its own take on the Stadtbahn tram-train network with its own Citybahn train-tram network! This is Chemnitz: A city of contradictions and oddities - and a place I ended up in after a cancelled Flixtrain!
