Atherton bikes AM170 lower shock pivot frame problem

To be fair this is the best bike i have ever ridden it goes up and down like a demon. However its developed a problem the lower shock pivot kept coming loose, it transpires that the pivot has become badly worn through intended use. The knock on effect was to wear the ends of the shock mounting hardware, hence the onset of it constantly becoming loose. Contacted customer services and they said they were aware of a problem and have now got an updated part “made of stainless”. I had to pay for it and when i fitted it made no difference, so had to replace the shock mounting hardware too. This fixed the issue so far but yet to take it out on the trail… In hindsight probably should have fitted another aluminium mounting kit rather than the stainless steel one as I believe stainless is harder than titanium and further movement could potentially wear the frame? Hopefully this info might help anyone with the same issue? ##UPDATE## took out on an easy loop (nothing rough at all) came loose straight away, think the frame is worn, which is rubbish…
