The Hiren's CD has many features including the removing or bypassing of a windows password, using mini xp and linux modes, virus removal tools, disk and backup utilities and many useful DOS and BIOS tools, all conveniently placed on one CD-ROM. Booting from CD Troubleshooting Guide: If your computer does not boot from the CD automatically, then you will need to enter the boot selection menu and choose the 'CD' or 'CDROM' (or something similar) to boot from the CD, like shown in this video. The key on your keyboard that you have to press to get to the boot selection menu varies depending on your computer. The key on my computer is F2 but it may be different on yours.
