Depending on your sampling point connection, you will have either a SCUBA, CGA, OR NPT adapter. You’ll need to connect the adapter to the detector tube assembly. Attach the adapter to the end with the black o-ring. Then make sure the black detector tube holder is securely tightened. Then, remove the 37mm filter from the sampling media box. Remove the blue or red caps from the ends of the filter. Gently screw the stickered end of the filter to the plastic end of the detector tube assembly. Do not remove the filter from the blue aluminum housing. Blue housing must be in place during sampling. Thread the black bottle holder onto the brass adapter. If you are using a SCUBA adapter, the bottle holder will thread onto the side. If you are using a CGA or NPT adapter, the bottle holder threads onto the top of the adapter. In this example, we are using a CGA adapter. Attach the adapter to your sampling outlet. Insert the barbed end of the red tubing to the back of the filter cassette. Attach the open end of the red tubing to the filter flowmeter. Leave the upper back hole of the flowmeter unobstructed. You are now ready to take a sample. _____________________ Have questions?
