INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 1-15-25 3:18 AM LOCATION: WB 10 at 15 Freeway AREA/CITY: Ontario DETAILS: The CHP log has been updated as a fatality On January 15th, 2026, at about 3:18 AM, CHP, Ontario FD, and AMR responded to a traffic collision on the Westbound 10 Freeway under the 15 Freeway. CHP arrived at the scene and located a semi that had struck an overhead beam. That steel beam landed on two vehicles, trapping one driver inside the vehicle with major damage. After about 45 minutes, the victim was transported with major injuries. The other driver was also transported with unknown injuries. Construction crews were able to drag the beam out of lanes, but require CalTrans to come and inspect the bridge. All traffic is being diverted to the 15 freeway and all lanes of the Westbound 10 are closed at the 15 Freeway with no ETA of re-opening.
