By mid-1964, the songwriting partnership between Mick Jagger and Keith Richards was taking off. Meanwhile, Stones bassist Bill Wyman had started writing songs of his own, often collaborating with Brian Cade (who had played with Wyman in The Cliftons in 1962). One of the songs they wrote was called "You Went Away", and it was recorded by a singer named Bobbie Miller (real name: Audrey Wealleans). Wyman produced the song and probably also played bass on it. Miller released 2 further singles (also produced by Wyman) before disappearing from the music scene.
