In this video, I have attempted my hands at making my first-string art piece by re-using a plywood as my surface which I got from trash. I cleaned it and painted it black and started to make my squares. Keep dividing your squares and mark them all at half inches. In total I made seven squares. Use some finish nails and nail them on your markings. Then simply start from the inner square and start working around the square, by following the schematic that I have shared in this video. Just tie the knot starting from the first nail of the square, go around the complete square, and when you reach the end, tie the thread to the first nail, using the leftover thread from the initial knot, seal it using super glue and cut the loose ends as precisely as possible. Continue with the rest of the squares in the same manner, alternating between your choice of colors of thread and voila, your thread art is completed! Flaunt your statement piece by decorating that empty wall of the bedroom or hallway and for sure, it can be a conversation starter!
