2 years out from a knee replacement is expected to feel like you got your life back after suffering from knee arthritis for so long. But not everyone has this experience... It's estimated that 20-25% of knee replacements end up as a failure. That means that up to 1 out of 4 people quietly suffer with chronic knee pain for years after having a knee replacement surgery. This was supposed to be the last resort option after having tried everything else before choosing to have surgery. The knee surgeon often tells the patient that there's nothing else that could be done since everything looks "normal" on the x-ray. But it is NOT normal to have continued knee pain after knee replacement. And more importantly, there's likely a problem that still needs to be fixed that the knee replacement surgery obviously did not address. In this video, Dr. David the question, "is it unusual to have pain 2 years after knee replacement surgery?" He shares with you the missing problem that has not yet been identified by your surgeon or other healthcare professionals. Looking for more help with a knee replacement problem?
