A clear of Lunar mode with the Bruiser Rabbit. I'd say the Bruiser is one of the better characters, with the right items she has pretty solid (depending on the items, completely broken) damage, and also her defensive ability has two charges as base kit, and it also clears bullets, makes you dash and enhances your primary attack, so it's pretty good to avoid attacks and boost your dps. The Emerald Special Upgrade is her best by far, you get a pretty good buff pretty much permanently after waiting 25 seconds, and the fact that is permanent is so huge because you don't have to worry about tracking cooldowns anymore, you can just focus on dodging while holding your primary attack key. Saphire and Ruby Primary Upgrades are very good with the Emerald Special, since you get to use your primary forever. And the Opal Defensive is pretty good for increasing survivability. Any items that enhance your primary damage is a must, any item that deals damage, applies a debuff on the enemy, or buffs you after using your defensive is pretty nice too, since you get multiple uses of your defensive, and getting items/upgrades that let you spam it is very likely to happen. I like to start with the King's Arsenal because is the easiest area, and in my opinion the hardest part of the run is getting out of the first boss with a good build, if you manage to do that the second boss will be easier, and when you get past the second boss you'll have enough items/upgrades to become op (depends on rng tho). Despite the game allowing you to make some ridiculous builds with over-the-top damage that let you kill bosses before they even show half of their attack patterns, or combine some items to make you invincible every 2 seconds, the game is still pretty hard on Lunar mode, so, in a way, it really feels necessary to use overpowered items to win (which is one of the things that makes the game fun actually), I tried not to abuse the most op in the run tho. The thing is, you can make some really cheesy builds, but it's hard to do since the items you get depend on RNG, also, there's the fact that in Lunar mode all enemies have a time limit that is actually pretty strict if you don't have good damage. Damage is very, VERY important. You can make a build that makes you literally immortal, but if you lack on damage, it's worthless, the time limit has unavoidable damage, and let me tell you, enemies and bosses on this game have some ridiculous amounts of HP, so you will encounter many situations where you don't get items/upgrades that enhance your damage enough, so you kinda have to accept that your run is dead because you can't kill anything before the time limit. You have to prioritize items that enhance your damage over items that make you more survival, but don't get me wrong, you need both to get through the game because bosses have some really tricky mind fcker patterns that are better to cheese with I-frames, I'd say 70% damage, 30% Defensive. It is totally possible to dodge every pattern without ever using your defensive ability, but being possible doesn't mean is viable, some patterns are really nasty, and it's hard to know what's going on since there are so many things happening at the same time in some of the attacks. And that's one thing I don't like about Lunar mode, since you have to get damage items yes or yes (in early game at least), it takes away some of the creativity and fun builds you can make in the other modes, you can still do some pretty silly builds once you get high enough damage, sure, but that's in late game, getting there is pretty hard. So you are kinda forced to do damage-based builds for the most part, or at least, that's the case as solo.
