The next match of the first ever Street Fighter 6 Extreme Tournament! Ken is back from his first-round pass as the champion of the last tournament. (For some reason the recordings skipped the first 10-ish seconds of each fight in this round, hence them starting off in the middle of the entryways. No issues with recordings of other games around the same time, so I'm not sure what the issue is. I guess I'll to give the recordings more time to warm up in the next round. Apologies for awkward starts this time around.) With some time to spare before the release of Alex, I've decided to start a tournament I've been considering for a while now but haven't had the time for - a tournament using the Extreme Battle rules! There's a few different combinations of rules and gimmicks to try out, so I tested a few different ones and ruled out anything I didn't personally find entertaining to watch (the CPU doesn't seem to know what to do with drones or regulations - not really Mecha Friends either, but at least those sometimes get activated by happenstance). Not sure which single combination works best for a tournament, so I've decided for this first go around to just try out a different setup for each match! If you guys notice a match setup that you enjoy, let me know in the comments and I may consider it for future tournaments. A few unfortunate things I've already noticed: the matches are limited to best 2/3 rounds, and so tend to be shorter, and I don't get to choose the stage or music. So I might only do future Extreme Tournaments as a last resort during content draughts (such as right now), but I'll reconsider based on the kind of response it gets. We now have a release date of March 17 for Alex. I'm sticking with the schedule of 3(ish) fights a week for now, which, according to my math, means finishing this tournament in February and having a bit over two weeks rest. I'll make changes depending on what other content I want to cover. (I have been working on something big in the mean time I hope to start posting soon.) But this tournament should keep going until at least the end of February. Leave a Like if you enjoyed this, and Subscribe for more content! #kenmasters #streetfighter6 #tournament
