En este video voy a contaros la historia y las curiosidades del Teletexto, un servicio de información de texto que (todavía hoy) se emite en varios países junto con la señal de televisión. El Teletexto fué inventado en 1972 por John Adams, técnico de Philips, e incorporado a la TV por primera vez en 1974, en la BBC. Surgió como método de información y resultó muy últil para muchas personas con discapacidad auditiva. En España, el Teletexto apareció por primera vez de la mano Televisión Española (TVE) en 1988 (aunque ya se habían hecho pruebas anteriormente), y se fue extendiendo por el resto de las cadenas. Aunque ha desaparecido de muchos países, en otros como España, Alemania e Italia lo siguen manteniendo. Hasta la llegada y democratización de Internet, el Teletexto supuso un método muy útil de acceso a información: subtítulos, programación televisiva, noticias, tiempo, sorteos y horóscopos eran parte de su contenido. Tenía un método de navegación que nos recuerda a un Internet muy rudimentario. Probaremos el Teletexto en una TV LG del año 2008 y, posteriormente, lo veremos en versión web de la página de RTVE.
