It’s 18 degrees, so the day is a mix of physical work, problem-solving, and small tasks that need to get done before temperatures drop even further. Every day is so different here, but also so similar. Plumbing work, prepping electrical wiring, staying warm in the studio, preparing for a spring of house bulling, and keeping my wood protected for winter. There’s a lot of back-and-forth between tools, materials, and trying to think a few steps ahead so I don’t create more work for myself later on. I’ve been living full time in my van for five years and working on this land for the past two, and days like this are pretty typical.
