A compilation of 2024 videos showing the build processes used over 2024, year 2 of a 15 year project. Not recommended for casual watching as it's not intended for that, but it should be a useful reference. Note that clips are compiled in logical build order, not date order. The topic over 2024 has been building wing ribs for a 1917 Sopwith Camel. The techniques shown are approximations of those used to make original parts in the period 1915-1918. In effect I am re-inventing 100 year old processes. The materials used are the same or modern day equivalents to the materials originally used. Note that the author is not an Aircraft Engineer - he is an enthusiastic Muppet that wants to fly a Camel. I haven't asked but it's a pretty safe bet that Peter Jackson will not let muppets fly his toys, meaning I have to build one and then learn to fly it - hopefully without breaking it (or me). In the meantime you should assume that following a muppet's advice, may not be wise for your aircraft project. YMMV.
